The x-ray confirmed today that there are seven puppies. We don't think there are any more hiding in there even though she's already gained eight pounds.
Nikki eats and sleeps most of the time now and is at this moment sleeping in the whelping box for the first time. Yay! Her belly is really huge and now when she lays on her back or side, I can see the pups moving around all over the place. One more week to go...

That has got to be an awesome sight to be able to see the puppies moving.
BTW, do the x-rays have to be of a special type to be safe for the puppies?
Better get your rest, put your feet up because next week is like cramming for your finals. I'm crossing my fingers that all goes OK.
